Over fifteen years ago (4 weeks in Sim time), Pablo and Jennifer Martinez moved to the quiet town of Twinbrook to begin new careers and raise a family. They purchase a house Bayou Gutch Road and proceeded to renovate the ugly house and turned into a beautiful family home. Pablo joined the local professional soccer team with the dream of becoming a superstar athlete. Jennifer started on her journey to becoming a world leader by joining the political career at the Town Hall. They were welcome right away to the town by Marc Brandt, who became fast friends with Jennifer, and Lenny Jones-Smith who quickly became best friends with Pablo. Both Pablo and Jennifer have since
earned their spots in the celebrity world by become socially involved with many of the locals.
Shortly after getting settled into their new home, Pablo and Jennifer were asked if they were interested in adoptinga young boy, who desperately needed a home. They gladly said, yes, and Antonio became welcome addition to the household. Once Antonio was settled into his new home and school, Jennifer became pregnant with their first daughter, Esther, who is about to start her first day of school. While Esther was a young toddler, baby Pedro made his entrance into the world and was sent a special doll from one of his aunts. Antonio has been a straight A student right through high school and was voted Prom King at his prom.
Pablo and Jennifer won a two day vacation and left the care of the young children in Antonio's capable hands. The story then takes an unexpected turn of events. Antonio's best friend Notzo Curious invited him to the prom and because neither of them had found dates, Antonio said he'd go. While at school on the day of the dance, Notzo asked Antonio if they could go steady. You can imagine my shock when I got that message come up to choose yes or no. Of course I clicked on 'no', that was fine. Notzo then came over to visit just before the prom was to start but Antonio left shorty after he arrived in the limo that shuttles the students to the dance. Am not sure how, Notzo did this because he was at the Martinez house during the whole prom but was somehow at the prom at the same time because an update on the dance said that after Antonio had danced the 'chicken dance', Notzo kissed him (ewww) and they became romantically involved.
Even though Pablo and Jen do not agree with that type of lifestyle, they understand that ultimately once a child is grown up they make their own decisions in love regarding their romantic relationships and careers and all parents can do his love them and hope their children make wise choices. Antonio is also developing a friendship with Winter Lockwood so we'll have to wait and see if stays romanically involved with Notzo or decides to pursue a relationship with winter. If it's the former he will probably move out and start a life of his own.
Since prom night, Antonio has graduated with the highest marks in his class and was valedictorian. Pablo and Jennifer were so proud of him as he electrified the audience with his speech of encouragement for his fellow graduates. Shortly after graduation, Antonio started working towards his lifetime goal of Star News Anchor by joining the journalism career and has already had his first promotion. His talent towards writing should go a long way to help him achieve this goal.
Antonio and Notzo are still good friends but have not shown the romantic interest that was seen on prom night. Notzo is quite a flirt, so the prom kiss was probably done in fun but misinterpreted by the rest of the students. It was no doubt inappropriate for Notzo to initiate this kind of action but things happen and sometimes actions of this nature get blown out of proportion. Antonio would like to just be friends with Notzo but doesn't want to hurt his feelings and is waiting for the right time to talk to Notzo about this issue. He has become friends with Pansy Prudence and Winter since then as well.
Esther is doing well in high school and has joined the school's sports club as she loves sports and wants to be a sports star after she graduates. The prom is this Friday and is excited to attend and have lots of fun. Pedro has just reached his teen years and is about to enter high school. His parents both want to teach him to drive and will hopefully be able to fit it into their busy schedules.
A blond bomber has joined the family when Pedro and Jennifer decided to adopt young girl, Samantha, who was desperately needing a loving family. The family welcomed her with opened arms and are showering her with the love she was missing in her life. Her favorite color is yellow, so her new parents lovingly redecorated the old nursery for her.
Oh, Antonio had a nice relaxing trip to China, as he was asked to get a photo of the Dragon's Maw unfortunately the pictures he took on his cell phone didn't turn out. He brought home new recipes for his mother and some Chinese relics in case his new sister needs one for school. Antonio also purchased a Martial Arts training dummy and board breaker but the airline service is getting bad because somehow they got lost on the flight coming home.
Pablo, Jennifer, and Antonio got to go on a three day vacation while Esther and Pedro took care of things at home. Both Esther and Pedro were crowned Prom King and Queen. It looks like Esther is headed towards the same lifestyle of her brother, Antonio, as her best girlfriend asked her to accompany her to the prom and was also asked if they could go steady. I chose 'no' again but that didn't prevent them from kissing at the prom and becoming 'romantically involved'. This leaves Pedro to be my heir as he was denied a dance. He still shows interest in his imaginary friend, so I'm getting him to work on his science skills to try to make the potion to make the imaginary friend real unless he meets someone while still in high school. Don't you love how this game has a mind of its own. As for Antonio and Esther, they are leaving any romantic advances up to their respective dates to make any moves in that department.
